The popular wine bar and restaurant is now open in Sharon Square in the former Corkbuzz space.
Why it matters: After opening the original location in Dilworth in 2016, Dilworth Tasting Room became a date night favorite for Charlotteans. Known for its charcuterie boards, robust cocktail program, and comprehensive wine list, DTR intends to bring these elements and more to its new Sharon Square location.

What’s new: The biggest change diners will notice is DTR SouthPark’s emphasis on food. The original DTR spot didn’t have a full kitchen, so this new location gives chef Jonathan Shuler room to grow the menu, owner Jaffer Kovic says. The SouthPark location will also be open for lunch and dinner.
Drinks: Guests can expect an expanded cocktail program with a few rotating cocktails on draft. “We’re not trying to reinvent a wheel,” says bar manager and lead mixologist Chad Whittington. “We’re gonna just focus on fresh, quality ingredients and making cocktails fun and fresh again.”
- And then, of course, there’s the wine: DTR SouthPark has over 400 bottles available.
Food: Small plates are the main focus, but DTR SouthPark also has entrées like large porterhouse steaks and whole-roasted fish. Kovic, who’s Croatian, also says to expect a few coastal Croatian dishes. Shuler says to expect “good food” that’s unpretentious, but “stuff that nobody else is doing.”
Location/hours: The exact address is 4905 Ashley Park Lane, Ste. J. Open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 3-10 p.m., and Sunday from 3-9 p.m.
