9/11 Flags of Remembrance Ceremony Virtual: This live-stream event will allow viewers to reflect and remember a day that will forever be etched into America’s history. Imagining a Non-Violent Charlotte Exhibit at 4100 Raleigh St.: The Charlotte Art League is launching an exhibit that uses art as a means of envisioning a non-violent Charlotte. There will be a panel discussion from 7 to 8 p.m. followed by a candlelight vigil in the parking lot to honor lives lost in the community due to violence. 6 p.m. Details

Donations from this event will benefit OurBridge, an organization that provides transitional support and ongoing services for the 600+ refugees and immigrants who come to Charlotte each year.
