The Agenda Weekender is proudly presented by Speedway Drive-In. This summer Charlotte Motor Speedway is hosting drive-in movies every Wednesday night. Catch “Jurassic Park” on August 26. Admission is $30 per car. Snag a ticket.

Mecktoberfest Märzen Lager Release at The Olde Meck Brewery: Head to Olde Meck Brewery for the release of their world-renowned, seasonal Mecktoberfest Märzen Lager. If you can’t make it out Friday, have no fear because the celebration will continue all weekend long. Servings come in one liter, half-liter, and regular pours. And if you weren’t sold already, local rock band, DECARLO will kick-off the weekend with songs from their latest studio album “Lightning Strikes Twice.” Prices vary. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Details.

Dreamsicle IPA Release at NoDa Brewing Company: NoDa Brewing Company is bringing back the nostalgic taste of Dreamsicle to the tap. You can hang out on the patio or in the taproom and enjoy this sweet and dreamy IPA. Menu Pricing. 3-10 p.m. Details.

Pumpkin Latte Blonde Release at Sycamore Brewing: Dust off your yoga pants and your Uggs because fall is on the way, and Sycamore Brewing is releasing its Pumpkin Latte Blonde. This “pumpkin party of a beer” features fresh spices, real vanilla, and house-roasted coffee layered over a crisp blonde ale base. 4-9 p.m. Details.

Food Trucks at NoDa Brewing Company: Come for the beer and stay for the brats. The JJ Red Hots food truck will be serving up delicious dogs, and every day this weekend, NoDa Brewing Company will feature delicious grub from a different food truck. Menu Pricing. 5-8 p.m. Details.

Abbey Elmore Band at Edge City Brewery: Enjoy live music from the indie-pop group Abbey Elmore Band (AEB for short) while you try one of the 11 beers that Edge City Brewery has on tap. Free. 6-9 p.m. Details.

Drake and The Weeknd Theme Night at the Yard: Dj Kyle Genisis will rock The Music Yard with top hits from Drake and The Weeknd. Grab your mask and head out for this socially distanced drive-in concert. Car-side food and beverage service will be provided by SouthBound. $80+. 7 -11 p.m. Details

Untethered Video Performance Installation in Camp North End: Head over to Camp North End to see “Untethered,” a film installation by video performance and relational artist Dennissa Young with music by Dylan Gilbert.
