Overview:
CLT Vets is seeking a highly motivated team member to join our new veterinary hospital in South End. We focus on providing personalized patient care in a team setting with a “Cheers” mentality. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting the doctors with daily needs
• Obtaining patient histories and educating clients
• Assisting clients and patients to there vehicles when needed
• Animal handling and loving on them : )
• Lab procedures
• Stocking rooms
• Cleaning rooms, treatment areas, surgery, and dental areas
• Telephone client service representative
• Dog walking/cleaning of kennel cages when needed
• Medicating patients
• Data entry
• Preparing surgery suite, gowns, and dental area
• Monitor surgical patients and post-surgery
• Filling medications for patients
• Performing radiographs
• Clean ears and trim toenails, express anal glands internally
• Obtain/read blood samples, ear cytology’s, urinalysis, aspirate’s, impression smears, and fecals
• Performing dental radiographs and dental scaling, polishing, cleaning, root planing
• Placing IV catheters
• Preparing patients for surgeries, intubating, and monitor during surgeries
• Performing cystocentesis

Qualifications:
• Registered veterinary technician
• Self starter
• Ability to multi-task in face paced environment
• Enthusiastic, practical and hardworking attitude
• Love for animals and passion for their health and well being

• Dependable and be able to work a flexible schedule

Compensation and benefits:
• Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
