The Agenda Weekender is proudly presented by Speedway Drive-In. From concerts to movies, Charlotte Motor Speedway is hosting drive-in events every week this summer. Catch an exclusive, pre-recorded Blake Shelton drive-in concert this Saturday and then grab some popcorn and enjoy some retro 80s vibes with “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” on July 29.


Craving Queen City Grounds at 644 N. Church St.: Try vegan and vegetarian foods; drink beer or wine or espresso; and listen to live music from members of the Charlotte Symphony. 6-9 p.m. $35. Details.

CLT Art & Sole, varies: Every Friday through August 7, you’ll be able to take a guided walking (or running) art tour of Charlotte using the RunGo app. There will be three distance options each week — short (1-2 miles), medium (3-4 miles), or long (5-7 miles) — to choose from. 4-7 p.m. $35. 24 Hours of Booty: UnLooped, varies: The annual in-person race is canceled for 2020, but you can still show support from your own yard, bike around your neighborhood, and donate to the cause all weekend. $25 includes a donation and event T-shirt. Your neighborhood. $25. Details.

Laps for Charity Under the Lights at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Join Speedway Children’s Charities – Charlotte Chapter and take a three-lap cruise around Charlotte Motor Speedway after dark in your personal car from for a donation to SCC. 8:30-10 p.m. $30 per car. Details.

Charlotte Pride Virtual Festival & Parade 2020, online: Even though the Pride Parade is canceled this year, Charlotte is still hosting virtual celebrations. Expect a city-wide scavenger hunt and live streams of a virtual festival and parade. Details/Full schedule.

Opening Knight 2020: White Sox Watch Party at Truist Field: Watch some baseball and expect food, beer specials, Knights Turbo Trivia, live interviews, CLT/Sox merchandise sale, and more. Details.

Charlotte Virtual Job Fair, online: Meet with local employers (virtually) across diverse fields, like construction, banking, technology. All week. Free, but RSVP. Details.

Summer Night Series at Pinhouse: Expect a food truck, live music, and frosé on the patio — and wear a mask. 8-11 p.m. Free. Details.


Fin & Fino Summer Wine Dinner: Pick up a meal kit and assemble a multi-course dinner for two at home. You’ll get all the ingredients, video instruction, and three glasses of wine (with a crash course on the wines). $99. Details.

Oakhurst Mess Market, Esther and Elsa – 4431 Monroe Road: Shop an assortment of foods and groceries, all locally made and sourced by different vendors. The tents will be set up in an L-shape to promote one-way traffic and they’re asking for credit card payments when possible. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free. Details.

Caroline Calouche & Co.’s Virtual Show: CC&Co. dancers and guest musical artists will perform live at the Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center’s Studio Theater, while you stream it from home. 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. $15-$100 contribution. Details.

One Year Anniversary Celebration at Noble Smoke: To celebrate, they’re hosting an all-day event with lawn games (social distanced and sanitized), live music, beer and drink specials ($3 Suffolk Punch brews and $5 margaritas), and a special pastrami sandwich. Plus, the full menu will be available both inside and outside. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Free to attend. Details.

Drive-In Movie at Lake Norman YMCA: Load up the car with your quarantine crew and some snacks, and see a drive-in screening of “Goonies.” 8:15 p.m. $15+. Details.

Yoga Class at Hodges Family Farm: If there’s one place you can socially distance, it’s a farm. Grab your mat and get out of the city for a little while. 8 a.m. $10. Details.


Summer Sunday Sip & Savor at Lincoln Street: Enjoy a four-course meal paired with wine and bubbly. The event is outside and only 30 tickets are available to ensure social distancing. 6-9 p.m. $75. Details.

Bold Music Virtual Gig Night: LIVE from Heist Brewery: Students will perform live from Heist and from home The performance will include a collaboration song with staff and patients at Levine Children’s Hospital. 4 p.m. Details.
