Porch Vibes Spring Fest: The virtual festival features food and drink demonstrations, art, performances, and short films. $2,500 will go toward Feed the Frontlines and 70 percent of the money raised will help the musicians and artists who’ve been affected by COVID-19. 7-9 p.m. Donate what you can here. DIY Hacks for Home Decor with SkillPop: This virtual class is for anyone with HGTV taste on an Ikea budget. You’ll learn how to spice up your space on a budget. 5-6:30 p.m. $20. Details.

Music Anywhere CLT Virtual Concert Series: From a children’s music class on Friday morning to an evening piano show, there are nine virtual concerts to choose from on Friday through Music Anywhere CLT. Varies. Details.

Virtual Charlotte Job Fair: If you’re on the job hunt, this is a free way to connect with those hiring right now. (You can also check out our job board for more A+ open jobs). Free. All day. Details.

Virtual Studio: I’m A Queen: Take a painting lesson over Zoom with your whole fam, or as a solo project. You can pick up materials 4-5 p.m.; class is 7-9 p.m. $36/person. Details.

15-minute Funnies with The Comedy Zone: I’ve never wanted to see a standup show more; thankfully local comedians are doing a virtual show. 8:30 p.m. Donate what you can, if you can. Details.

Floral Arranging Basics with SkillPop: Few things are more cheerful than flowers. Learn how to make gorgeous arrangements virtually, even from grocery store flowers (I like Trader Joe’s for affordable flowers). 10-11:30 a.m. $20. Details.

Untappd Sessionable Saturdays with Phil Buchy: Drink some beer and tune in to hear from Legion Brewing’s Phil Buchy. Maybe order a Juicy Jay four pack if you really want to lean into the Legion theme. 2:30-3:30 p.m. Free. Details.

Uptown Farmers Market: There’s nothing like summertime produce, and we can shop the Uptown farmers’ market again. Due to COVID it looks a little different this year — you must wear a mask, vendors are 20 feet apart, traffic flows one way, and they have hand-sanitizing stations. 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free. CLT United Virtual DRAG SHOW: Need some cheering up? The Charlotte drag community is putting on a virtual show with a diverse range of local talented queens. I think an extra dose of glam is just what the doctor ordered.  7-8:30 p.m. Free. Details.

Keep Pounding 5K: The 10th annual Keep Pounding 5K (happening virtually this year) will benefit the Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s Hospital patients and survivors. Teams and individuals can register to run or donate to the cause. Submit your time when finished (the race is open for one week). $30 to run. Details.
