Take advantage of the Panthers bye week with a little bit of bluegrass. Town Mountain and Cabinet are in town. Both will be great, and very different.
Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless otherwise noted, prices are before taxes and fees.
Agenda Picks
- 10/9: Town Mountain, Double Door Inn, 9 p.m., $12-$15. Town Mountain has won awards at the International Bluegrass Music Association World of Bluegrass convention, and bring a more traditional, early-bluegrass sound not found much these days.
- 10/11: Cabinet, Neighborhood Theatre, 8 p.m., $10-$12. Cabinet is another bluegrass group, but play a nontraditional, more rangey style. Live shows are pretty wild.
