Construction is wrapping up at The Juice Bar‘s Park Road Shopping Center location (in between Subway and Bruegger’s). Staff training takes place next week (10/5 – 10/9). This is the Juice Bar’s second Charlotte location. Its first opened around a month ago in Cotswold’s Providence Plaza.
Fast facts on The Juice Bar
- Owner Erin Brundage told me that The Juice Bar’s Providence Plaza location is “exceeding sales expectations” – so it looks like Charlotte is welcoming the national juice craze with open arms.
- Looking at the data from their first Charlotte location, the most popular juice will be the Sweet Greens ($5.50 – apple, kale spinach, cucumber, parsley and lemon). And the most popular smoothies will be the Green Smoothie ($7.50 – spinach, kale, pineapple, banana, lemon and apple) and the Mint to Be ($5.50 – mint, mango, pineapple, coconut milk and apple juice).
- The Juice Bar at Park Road Shopping Center will have a “private lounge.” This lounge is a free space (must be reserved) made for everything from small meetings to meet-ups to parties.
- In case you haven’t been recently Edens (developer) is transforming Park Road Shopping Center. Salad place Chopt just opened, Monkey Joe’s got demolished and J Crew just signed a lease.
“The founder of Juice Bar, Vui Hunt, has done an amazing job with creating juice recipes that really stand out! They are full of flavor and full bodied. They aren’t watery or thin. For example, our Sweet Greens juice – apple, cucumber, spinach, kale, parsley and lemon – tastes like a healthy apple lemonade.” – Erin Brundage, owner.
