A new concept called Topgolf Swing Suite at Northside Station will take the place of Flight in Uptown. The new 10,000-square-foot facility will open on Friday, November 8.
Topgolf describes its swing suite as “everything you love about Topgolf, in a luxury suite.” There are about 50 of these facilities across the United States.
Instead of a driving range, expect luxury suites with state-of-the-art simulators, comfy lounge seating and big screen HDTVs. Food and beverage are available as well (just like a regular Topgolf). Owner Mike Libretto described the food as “gastropub meets country club.” Oh, and they’ll be cocktails on tap as well as Truly and rosé.
Layout: Uptown’s Topgolf Swing Suites will have eight bays — two private bays in the back left, five elevated bays in the main area and one bay on the enclosed porch. It’s cool a cool open floor plan with a massive bar.
Games: It’s not just golf. Games on the interactive simulator include soccer, baseball pitching, zombie dodgeball, carnival classics, hockey, golf and a quarterback challenge. Serious golfers get excited, Topgolf Swing Suites has 85 famous golf courses that you can play on the simulator.
Cost: Prices range from $45 to $85 per hour for a suite depending on the time and day of the week (up to 8 people in a suite). Catering packages are available for multiple suites.
Location: It’ll take the space previously occupied by Flight, a beer hall at Northside Station in Uptown. The address is 314 N. College St. Eventually, Topgolf Swing Suites will have an enclosed front patio.
Hours: 10 a.m. to midnight on Sunday; 11 a.m. to midnight Monday-Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday-Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday.
