Bentley’s on 27 will close on Saturday, May 18, but they’re relocating to SouthPark in early fall.

What: The French-American fine-dining restaurant is currently on the 27th floor of the Hines Charlotte Plaza — 201 S. College St. — where they’ve been in business for 14 years, hosting tons of private events and serving up high-end cuisine. The menu includes things like caviar, oysters, steak and tuna tartare, roasted tiger prawns, maple smoked veal chop, filet mignon, Alaskan king crab legs and more.

Hours: You’ve got two more days to dine before the re-relocation. You can do lunch today between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., or dinner tonight or Saturday 5:30-9:30 p.m.

What’s next: Co-owner Kay Emad told me they can’t reveal too much at the moment “but I can say it’ll be in the SouthPark area.”

Timeline: Emad said they’re looking to open the new location between late August and early fall, mostly likely some time in September.

We’ll keep you updated as plans progress.
