Pepperbox Doughnuts, a hand-crafted doughnut shop, is now open at South End’s Design Center.
Pepperbox specialized in yeast-raised doughnuts and always offers a wide variety of vegan options. The locally owned shop is located in the atrium at the Design Center. The exact address is 101 W. Worthington Ave., Suite 150. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or until sold out) every day except Wednesdays (closed).
Doughnut Flavors: They’ll rotate, but the menu right now includes classic glaze, chocolate frosted, chocolate with sprinkles, malted blueberry, strawberry poppyseed, chocolate caramel crunch, Mexican chocolate, peanut butter Oreo, Boston cream, ricotta rhubarb, saffron cream, toasted miso caramel, raspberry eclair, chocolate eclair, hibiscus jelly and pineapple black pepper bacon.
Pricing: $1 for classic glaze; $1.50 for chocolate frosted and chocolate sprinkles; $3 for specialty flavors; or $24 for a dozen.
Beverages: Pepperbox Doughnuts offers Counter Culture coffee and nitro brew cold coffee as well as fancy sodas, teas and kombucha.
