Business Support Manager (HIRED)
Overview:
Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit’s functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. May have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers.
Key duties:
• Responsible for all Retail Sales and Fulfillment seat movements within the Consumer Lending space.
• Involved in executing ongoing site simplification strategy within Retail Sales which involves working with our sales partners to identify more cost-efficient sites for the current sales team.
• Work with other Lines of Business at the Bank to offload current allocations that should be absorbed by those Lines of Business.
• Maintain ongoing documentation, accurate notes and in-depth working knowledge on 50+ sales locations and 5-7 Fulfillment locations within the US.
• Work with others on the team to pull together summary data to be presented in front of various executive leaders at Bank of America.
Skills:
Required
• Minimum of 5-7 years previous Consumer Bank, process improvement or program management experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to succinctly convey information to executive leaders and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, quickly identify their needs and develop plans to support them.
• Ability to anticipate the next step in the process and develop proactive plans/tools to address
• Working knowledge and understanding of Consumer and Small Business Banking Products, Services and organizational structure.
• Must be a creative thinker, results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple (potentially competing) tasks and to work effectively across teams
Desired
• Consumer & Small Business Process expertise.
• Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Sharepoint skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
