Part-Time Licensed Optician

Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Licensed Optician with high-end, luxury retail sales experience. This position could potentially lead to a full-time position. The candidate for this role will deliver exceptional customer service that will match the high-quality eyewear we offer our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Greets all customers with a warm welcome right away and ensures they know what to expect.
• Custom fits glasses and precisely places prescription in lenses.
• Takes and records measurements, adjusts/fits eyewear and ensures finished eyewear meets standards and customer requirements.
• Is attentive to details, asks follow up questions for clarity, reads verbal/non-verbal cues, reviews prescriptions to identify any special needs.
• Assists co-workers with difficult or complex areas of product needs and prescriptions.
• Demonstrates superior product knowledge, takes the initiative to accurately describe the features and benefits of various lenses and frames.
• Explores underlying reasons for customer issues, strives to develop long-term solutions to problems and ensures customer expectations are exceeded.
• Takes pride in-store appearance, shows initiative to keep store clean, attractive and organized.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed (i.e. customer calls, dispensing eyewear, etc.).

Qualifications:
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
