A new brewery named Three Pillars Brewing has signed a lease at Fat City Lofts in NoDa. Expect a grand opening in early 2019.
This new brewery and taproom leased 1,700 square feet of space on the corner of North Davidson and East 35th streets. It’s the space formerly occupied by NoDa Grocery in the same complex as Popbar.
I reached out the Three Pillars Brewing, but they told me they had no news to share at this point. So it’s unclear whether this will be more of a taproom or more of a brewery. Given the size of the space, my guess is that it’ll be similar to the new Pilot Brewing that just opened on Central in Plaza Midwood. It’ll be Charlotte’s 26th brewery.

Pilot Brewing (above) is a similar size – 1,900 square feet. It’s the brainchild of Rachel Hudson, 31, and a veteran of NoDa Brewing.
