A former garage-turned restaurant and bar is one of the latest additions in South End. The Fairwood 226 offers typical bar fare, plus some comfort food. But the main attraction is a variety of local beers, wine, and cocktails.
It’s the long-time vision of owners Jason Smith and Scott Jermyn who saw a need for more late-night bar options in South End.
The 3,000-square-foot space has an open-air vibe with patios outside on the ground floor and on the rooftop. There are also two cabana-style bars that serve customers from outside. The bar is dog-friendly, too.
Fairwood 226 is located on Fairwood Avenue near Triple C, Suffolk Punch, and Lenny Boy Brewing.
