Mad About Modern Home Tour returns for its seventh year late next month.

On September 29, ticket holders will get to see inside seven of the city’s most impressive mid-century modern homes, all of which were built in the 1950s and 1960s and feature the style staples like clean lines and open floor plans.

Tickets go on sale today (August 1) and range in price from $20-$30. They can be purchased online through the Charlotte Museum of History.

All seven homes featured on the self-guided tour are located in SouthPark.


3800 Ayscough Road

Built: 1966
Specs: 3,100 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
Features: Low-pitched roof, exposed beams, expansive glass, custom floating bookcase

Built: 1956
Specs:
