Bulla Gastrobar, a traditional Spanish tapas and small plates restaurant, is now open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch in SouthPark. It’s their 7th location.

Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. I visited the restaurant on Tuesday (its grand opening day) and had lunch at the bar with only two other groups.

Pronounced “Boo-ya,” this tapas spot with a modern vibe is located at 4310 Sharon Road, Suite W01 in the space formerly occupied by Chuy’s.

Start off with Bulla’s popular Bullfighter cocktail ($11) – Bulleit bourbon, Aperol, Dow’s Port, lemon juice, and cranberry.

Another popular cocktail is Bulla’s Lemongrass Collins ($11) – St. Germain, Bombay Sapphire gin, lemongrass syrup, and cucumber. Here’s the cocktail menu:

If you’re there with friends, consider one of their three Sangria options. About $8 by the glass and $30 for a pitcher.

Fun fact: Bulla offers 6 different types of cured meats and 6 different types of queso.

I hope you appreciate this fancy octopus photo I took.

Bulla brunch special: Prix fixe, 3-course brunch for $27 (weekends only). You can also order off their brunch menu. $6 sangrías and mimosas.

Here’s a look at their popular Huevos ‘Bulla’ – Eggs, homemade potato chips, Serrano ham, potato foam and truffle oil ($10.50). It’s a popular dish in Miami.

It’s super rich and looks gross all mashed up like this, but it’s tasty.

You’ll have five options for dessert including the Copa Bulla ($8) – dulce de leche, strawberries, Granny Smith apples, and Greek yogurt.
