Overview:
This function will aggregate and synthesize marketing operational data to create multi-level reporting to empower marketing leaders, measure operational performance to identify opportunities to drive efficiency and ensure success of enterprise programs through project management and change management discipline and practices.

Key responsibilities and duties:
• Build management reporting capability as core function essential to marketing operations, ensuring systemic connection to business goals and strategic priorities.
• Ensure project management rigor to enterprise marketing and communications initiatives.
• Guide change management practices across marketing.
• Analyze KPI trends to identify and implement process and workflow improvement opportunities.
• Establish capacity planning capabilities to manage demand across the enterprise.
• Develop roadmap of prioritized marketing and communications technology capability investments in partnership with IT.
• Align and rationalize marketing platforms to increase seamless integration within marketing operations processes.
• Identify opportunities to best leverage existing capabilities broadly across marketing enterprise (e.g. increase marketing operations automation).
Management/leadership
• Role will directly manage 4-5 employees and indirectly manage 8-10 employees.
• The functions managed by the direct reports, Metrics and Reporting, Marketing PMO/Change Management, Process Design and Measurement, Workflow Design and Management and Capabilities and Innovation.
Budget
• The position will have responsibility for managing an operating budget of approximately $4M.
Impact

Expansion of Change Management practices ensures adoption and sustainability as we continually change and adapt to remain relevant marketers who engage customers in ways that are most meaningful to them. This position is also responsible for evolving our processes to make marketing delivery more simple and reducing the time to market.
Problem solving
Aggregation and synthesis of data, definition of KPIs and creation of meaningful reports will require analytical skills and the ability to make the complex data environment simple.

• General knowledge of diversified financial services industry preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of marketing process required.

• Partner closely with marketing operations leadership to establish KPIs and identify areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance and Analytics areas to build connections to business and financial outcomes.
• Credible and objective resource to marketing leaders as they make data-driven decisions.
• Partner closely with marketing stakeholders and IT leadership to evolve capabilities.

Qualifications:
Required
• BA/BS required, Masters degree preferred.
• 10+ years leading teams responsibility for quantitative analyses.
• Strong understanding of operational data and reporting.
• Tableau or equivalent reporting tool.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Process design.
• Process measurement.
• Report automation.
• Data aggregation.
• Capacity planning.
• Direct experience with marketing function.
• Strong ability to influence.
• Able to manage multiple high priority tasks or projects at a single time.
Desired
• 10+ years Six Sigma Certification.
• General knowledge of diversified financial services industry preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of modern marketing technologies.
