The most interesting part of the home is the 2,000-square-foot authentic Irish pub in the basement.
According to an interview that homeowners Lori and Craig Evans did with Houzz, the idea was hatched while the couple was having dinner at Rí Rá in Uptown. Craig told Lori that it’d be cool to have this in their basement.
So that’s what they did.
They hired builder Mary Ludemann, owner of New Old, to transform the basement into a pub.
OK, let’s check out this Irish pub basement. And yes, it does have a bedroom for that buddy who’ll drink too much Guinness over darts and have to sleep it off.
