Overview:
The Web Production Designer is primarily responsible for the creation and maintenance of visual content and elements for various Lowes.com and other digital properties (mobile, tablets, etc). This position will be responsible for web authoring at both the macro and micro level, from individual page elements to full page layouts and user path/funnel progressions.

To accomplish this, the Web Production Designer must have knowledge of user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design complex web interactions in a simple and intuitive manner. Responsibilities will include (depending on the project) the creation of static graphic elements to be ingested by our Digital Asset Management System as well as full-page layout construction in our Content Management System.

The Web Production Designer will collaborate directly with Lowes.com UX, Traffic Management, Promotions and Operations Specialists in order to create, develop and deliver visually appealing experiences and banners.

Responsibilities:
Essential
• Create visual elements including by not limited to banners, buttons, mastheads and/or page layouts to be consumed by Lowes Digital Channels (Lowes.com, Mobile, Tablet, etc).
• Coordinate availability and project statuses with Traffic Manager.
• Work with Lowes.com Copy and Promotions team to ensure that quality and correct work is delivered on time.

Qualifications:
Entry-level minimum required
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Design, Web Design, Digital Design, Fine Arts (etc) or related field or 3 years of experience in designing for the web.
• Experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).
• Advanced ability to create attractive and effective web site page designs.
• Possesses a broad knowledge of the Internet and its usage.
Mid-level minimum required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Design, Web Design, Digital Design, Fine Arts (etc) and 2 years of experience in a Corporate or Agency Environment or 5 years of experience in designing for the web.
• 3+ years experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite.
• Experience with Adobe CQ Content Management System(s).
• Advanced ability to create attractive and effective web site page designs.
• Possesses a broad knowledge of the Internet and its usage.

Preferred experience:
• Experience with Adobe CQ Content Management System(s).
• Experience with Scene7 Digital Asset Management.
