Located in Myers Park in the Selwyn Avenue shopping area, Paper Twist is a specialty paper boutique and gift shop carrying designers such Bella Figura, Haute Papier, Sugar Paper, Rifle Paper and many more. We are always looking for the next exciting, useful product and are excited to get our hands on a new pen, notepad or desk accessory. Since opening our doors in 2008, we remain passionate about personalized stationery and invitations, helping our customers find stylish gifts and love a beautifully wrapped present.
Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Sales Manager that is self-motivated and team-oriented with excellent communication skills. In this position, the Sales Manager will drive sales and work with the team to achieve monthly sales goals.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales goals and look for new opportunities to cultivate customers.
• Operationally opening and closing retail store.
• Assisting and connecting with all customers.
• Conducting consultations for custom stationery and invitations.
• Maintains a knowledge of merchandise and upcoming events.
• Executes merchandising strategy.
• Daily organization and cleanliness of sales floor and work environment.
• Assisting and connecting with all customers.
• Gift wrapping.
• Contributes to the positive team efforts of the store.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive individual, company and customer data without exception.
• Acts upon critical issues immediately within position’s authority and/or asks for assistance/decision-making from management.
• Makes suggestions to improve daily store sales, operations and overall flow.
