25 minutes when I drop off the kids at school. We typically listen to NPR and I like to talk with them about politics and economics.
Gadgets you can’t live without:
Healbe (health monitor). (Ted: this thing looks like some sort of alien tracker or something).
Do you listen to music while you work?
Software or services are you a power user of:
Evernote. I also use LinkedIn a ton.
Favorite spot for a business lunch:
King’s Kitchen. I get the meatloaf, mac and cheese, creamed corn and spinach.
Social media habits:
Facebook for friends, LinkedIn for professional relationships and twitter for everything else. I’d say I check social media about a dozen times a day.
To-do list manager:
What everyday thing are you really good at?
Best time-saving shortcut or Charlotte life hack:
I don’t respond to emails I don’t care about. (Ted: I asked for proof and Dan showed me this…)
Yes. I need 7 hours a night.
Where do you go around Charlotte to get away from the office?
Taco Bell. I’m a Taco Bell junkie. Seriously.
What did you eat for breakfast this morning?
Egg whites and wheat toast at the Original Pancake House. I had breakfast with David Howard (Charlotte mayoral candidate).
If you weren’t doing your current job, what would you be doing?
I can’t imagine not doing what I’m doing now.
