Hello Tuesday.

Publix fanboys are going nuts in excitement for their South End location opening this Saturday, April 18th. 55,000 square feet of Publixness. I grew up in South Florida, so I can still taste the deliciousness of the Publix subs that my soccer team would eat during pre-game meals. Swung by the location yesterday and they were doing parking space signage and leading employees through the store. It’s go time. Anyways.

TALKING POINTS

On Wednesday, Obama arrives into Charlotte at 1:50 pm. He’ll meet with a group of women at ImaginOn and then host a town hall style format with invited guests (invites have already gone out). Topic will either be his budget proposal or Charlotte’s inchworm invasion.

The new Montford Billiards has a speakeasy-type entrance and a dive bar feel. View photos and read our news briefing.

Have an excellent Tuesday and yes, we all have Charlotte inchworms in our trees, our hair and our nightmares.
