BRIO Tuscan Grille on Piedmont Row recently rebranded to BRIO Coastal Bar & Kitchen. Here’s a quick tour through the new menu.

Locally-founded-and-owned restaurant lovers, put down your pitchforks. I hear you and I’m with you, but we gotta talk about BRIO.

Executive chef Michael Siegman explained that the organization is implementing these rebrands (Charlotte’s BRIO is one of five already converted) to bring a “lighter, fresher menu” to the table as well as a less corporate, more friendly atmosphere.

The menu still consists of some classic favorites but has been cut down from 100 to around 40 items.

At BRIO, you’ll still get that local vibe. All ingredients are prepped fresh daily in-house (including homemade pasta) and their seafood is locally sourced.

I tried a handful of items and thoroughly enjoyed every single one (spoiler: the beets, cauliflower, and grilled salmon were my faves). Take a look.
