Will Hoge is yet another example of Visulite’s ability to pull national acts of all kinds of genres and still keep beer and ticket prices low. That makes it two things: (1) unique and (2) the best venue in Charlotte. Want to get your last big taste of the Grateful Dead in Charlotte this summer? Head to Rabbit Hole tonight for the Golden Gate Wingmen. It will likely sell out, so get on it, dude.
Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless listed otherwise noted, prices are before taxes and fees.
Agenda Picks
- 7/22/15: Golden Gate Wingmen, Spongecake and the Fluff Ramblers; Rabbit Hole, 7pm, $25. The Summer of the Dead continues at the Rabbit Hole with the Golden Gate Wingmen, who formed following the end of Furthur. Expect a nice mix of a lot of Dead, a few original songs, some unexpected covers and a heavy dose of good jamming.
- 7/24/15: Will Hoge; Visulite Theatre, 9pm, $15-$18. Grammy-nominated Hoge is one of the few country acts out there today that provides something deeper than lyrics only about solo cups or trucks or girls. His style seems to bridge the gap between modern country and what people like to call Americana. Should be a nice way to ease into the end of the week.
