Nearly everything inside a well-known Quail Hollow mansion could soon be up for auction.

The nearly 15,000-square-foot Charlotte home — right off the 14th fairway at Quail Hollow Club — is currently on the market and most recently listed at $6 million.

Rather than move everything inside cross-country, the family is considering auctioning nearly all of the interior decor, furniture and memorabilia through the site EBTH.com (Everything But The House). A portion of the proceeds would be donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The sale doesn’t have a date set yet and could fall through. The family asked that their name be removed from this story. But when it goes live, the four-day auction will be featured prominently on the Charlotte page of the site.

It’s a big get for the rapidly growing EBTH. They specialize in selling items from larger estates, starting the bidding on every item at $1 and letting the price rise from there. About 90 percent of their business comes from families who are downsizing.

EBTH is now getting more interest from CEOs and athletes in town.

The company has a 2,000-square-foot warehouse in South End they use to distribute items people buy. They’ll soon move into a 15,000-square-foot warehouse by the airport.

EBTH staff is spending this week inventorying and photographing the hundreds of items inside the estate.

One of the bigger-ticket items is a 2000 Cadillac.

There’s also a good bit of NFL memorabilia, including Super Bowl items and autographed Panthers merchandise.

There’s also a wide variety of artwork, high-end furniture, Christmas decorations, decor. Take a look around the residence.
