Overview:
In this role, you will be the technology subject matter expert for Salesforce.com (SFDC), supporting your colleagues ability to sell and deliver Torrent Consulting solutions to clients. You will have opportunities to develop skills, learn about various aspects of the organization and gain exposure to people at all levels of the Company.

You will be responsible for the design/development, configuration and maintenance of SFDC in support of our current and scaling organization. This role is ideal for an adaptable self-starter who has previously flourished in start-up environments and understands the challenges and rewards that come along with it. Unlike the stereotypical consulting company, Torrent Consulting promotes a culture of work/life integration, although extended hours should be expected from time-to-time. You must be comfortable in an organization where our development team is less than a few years old. If you are looking to receive requirements and only code, this is not the role for you.

What you will do:
• Work with stakeholders to understand workflow and business needs to aid in the development of their overall technical solutions strategy, as well as the development of new concepts and product requirements.
• Perform Salesforce technology research, produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
• Develop Salesforce verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient APEX code.
• Build and support integrations between Salesforce and other business technologies.
• Document, comment and maintain software functionality.
• Comply with project plans and industry standards for software development life cycle.
• Mentor and train remote and onsite users as needed.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience as a SFDC developer, preferably in a growth organization.
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (CS or Engineering is ideal).
• Hands-on experience designing, configuring and implementing SFDC, VisualForce, Apex, API, SOQL, Service.
• Cloud and similar platform applications.
• Experience integrating SFDC with 3rd Party tools such as DocuSign, ScribeSoft, SpringCM, Conga, etc.
• Experience working in cloud development and product environments.
• Ability to develop software in Java, VBA or C#.
• Knowledge of relational databases and analytical tools a plus.
• Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Ability to document requirements and specifications.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Certification highly desired.
