Developer Hopper Communities will build a new phase of townhomes in South End right next to its nearly sold out SouthPoint project.
The first phase of SouthPoint at South End launched in 2015 and included 53 townhomes. Today, all but two have sold.

In response, Hopper will be building 33 more townhomes across seven buildings connected to the existing homes.
“We started SouthPoint two years ago with the belief that there simply weren’t enough for-sale options in South End,” Hopper Communities founder Bart Hopper said in a statement. “The market response has been tremendous.”
Prices on the new phase will begin in the high $300,000s. The two- and three-bedroom homes will range from 1,313 to 2,039 square feet.
The new units will be three stories and have options for rooftop terraces with skyline views. They also will have two-car garages.
The developer is hosting a launch event at the site Saturday (September 16) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
