One of the most sought-after homes in the Charlotte real estate market is the reasonably priced townhome.
While the high-end market is pretty well-served, the sub-$350,000 market is still pretty sparse.
A new townhome community coming to South End will fit right in that category.
Developer Revolve Residential is about to break ground on a new community of 20 townhomes that start at $274,900 and will stay below that magical $350,000 figure.
Called Domain Townhomes, it’ll be made up of two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath units with one-car garages and about 1,200 square feet.
“We wanted to bring home ownership opportunities to first-time homebuyers, a segment of the market that has been underserved in South End,” Tim McCollum, principal of Revolve Residential, said in a statement.
The new community will be along Dunavant Street just north of Remount Road.
This is in the heart of South End, steps from Sycamore Brewing and the Publix.
Sales launch September 7 during a reveal party at Seoul Food Meat Co. (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
I’d expect them to be all claimed before any dirt gets moved.
Move-in is expected in late 2018.
